Our little Angel!

So after, once again, way too many hours creating this slide show, it all came together after help from aunt Lindsay! A client of mine took these pictures and we are so happy with them. I told her that these are the kind of pictures that I had always dreamed of having once I had a baby girl! Ya know, life just doesn't get any better does it! We are all still doing great! And I have to tell you that I wake up every morning with butterflies and excited that I get to be a Mom to her! Well and maybe a little tired! But she is just wonderful and we feel truly blessed! Just a note on the pictures on my behalf, this was honestly one of my worst hair days and the photographer had it a 1000 degrees in there because she wanted it warm for Isabella, and let me tell you it was. So don't mind the sweat and half smiles, i really am excited! Enjoy

So far, Sooo great!

I love this outfit on her. She is so small that she only fits in preemie and we have little to choose from, but this is one of my favorites!
Daddy's shoe is as big as I am!

Her going home outfit!

Another cute head band

The first five days of parenthood have been great! She is honestly so good and we are so blessed! She eats and sleeps when she is supposed to and when she is awake she is so calm and cute as can be! We are having so much fun with her and I have to admit that I probably hold her way too much for her own good, but I figure that the first couple of weeks are a freebie, right?! Here are a couple of "firsts". Notice the head bands. We had a friend make us a bunch of amazing headbands and these are the first of them with many to follow!

Isabella Karen is HERE

Here is Isabella Karen Newell. She was born May 30th at 4:39p.m. and she was 6lbs and 14ozs and 20 inches long. She has dark curly hair and very long fingers and toes and she is just perfect. Labor went good with a few scary moments. It lasted about 13 hours, but they had lots of problems with her heart rate depending on what position I layed in, so they put me on my right side and had to keep starting and stopping labor because of her heart rate. But luckily we evaded a c-section thanks to our wonderful nurse! I finally got to a ten and they rushed to get everything ready and after three contractions of pushing out she came. Her cord was wrapped around her body and her shoulder and it was really short so that is why we were having trouble with her heart rate.
She has been just dreamy. She is nursing well(ouch!), sleeping well, and the nurse gave us the A+ for the day because she was the only one doing what she was supposed to be doing. What can we say our child is a genious already! We just love her so much and are so blessed and greatful for her! Life just couldn't get any better!

The nursery and my big belly on induction day!

Well here are pictures of the nursery. I am pretty happy with how it came out, although after all of that sewing I can honestly say that the next one will probably be store bought unless I am miraculously not sick on the next one. Cause yes, still sick, threw up today!! But it is all worth it!
Today is the day we are supposed to be induced. They told us to call at 8:00 p.m. and see if they had room and of course we were told that all inductions are on hold and that they would call us sometime within a few minutes and 7:00 a.m.! How fun is that? This day just got a lot longer! I always have contractions every 5-10 minutes and I knew that I should have gone in earlier today and said that I was having regular contractions and they might as well keep me because I was going to be induced tonight anyways. But I wimped out! Oh well, the time will come soon enough. I am suprisingly not nervous but really depending on that epidural doing its job:)But we are very excited and anxious. I can't believe that the day is finally here. I am so very greatful for this blessing in our lives and welcome all the joys and hardships that she will bring along with it.So yes that is my big belly the day before we had her! So the next post should contain some baby Isabella pictures!! Wish us luck!!

So here are our maternity pictures! And it only took me about 3 hours and several tries to get this video done. It almost made me want to delete my blog because I was so frustrated with it, but it is all worth it in the end! All is going good with us. Pregnancy is a delight(10% of the time,) just kidding, it really is going good and we are just happy to be in this stage of our lives. We had an ultrasound the other day and they measured her at 4lbs 14oz and 10 days a head of schedule and we have 7 weeks left. We'll see if that stays true?! AND her head is bigger than the rest of her body. Lucky me! That just means that she is going to be really smart, Right?!
