Isabella turns 4!

Isabella turned 4 in May!! I can not believe how fast this precious time is flying. She is such a joy in our lives and has taught us so much about life. Being a parent is one of those sacred opportunities that no one can prepare you for, or explain the meaning and impact it will have on your life. Because there are no words strong enough to explain the emotions that surround it. She is our joy, laughter, frustration, education, strength and love. Everyday is a new adventure with her that teaches me so much about her and about myself. I am grateful everyday for the blessing I have of being her mother. Things about Isabella at 4: She loves to sing LOUDLY to her favorite tv shows She loves friends She loves water of any kind She is still a great sleeper She asks for broccoli at dinner Her favorite foods are beans and rice, top ramen, chicken nuggets, french fries-but only with ketchup, vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, fishes, potatoes, green beans, apple juice and skittles She loves to read books She loves the little Mermaid, Ariel She loves her gymnastics class She still wants to go back to nursery and tolerates primary She gives the best hugs and kisses Loves to be surrounded by blankets and stuffed animals when she sleeps She loves parties of any kind! But wants to know where the presents are at every occasion. She loves to dance like a ballerina She hates itchy clothes and having her hair done She loves when people come over and no matter their age, she asks them to play with her!

Pretty Happy!

So we are pretty happy about something!!!........

We have our Daddy back!

So its been about 6 months since I have blogged and I relate that to, 6 months ago, Rich started traveling monday through friday every week. So that left me a single mommy all week and for 6 months. Somehow we survived but while doing that I think I was in, "survival mode"! Just doing the necessaries to get through the day. All the extra's(blogging) went out the window. So we definitely decided that we were not going to live this way and tried to figure out a solution. The one we came up with was moving to Sacramento, Ca. to be near his job and so that he would not have to travel as much. We were fortunate enough that his company helped relocate us, and here we are. The move went relatively smoothly, besides that extra U-haul we had to rent, and we are sooooooooooooooo happy to be a family again. Rich keeps saying how domestic I have become since we got here and I like to remind him that I was pregnant for a full year, then had a new baby, and then he left for 6 months, so yes, that did not leave a lot of time for cooking nice meals and decorating, while handling it all and working part time! (love you babe!) So I am happy to report that I am happy here. I have quit doing hair all together and it has freed up so much more time for me to do stuff with my children and be a full time mommy and wife and I LOVE it!! I miss Arizona terribly, but the alternative has been good!
So I will try and catch up on the last 6 months but I won't promise any thing!

with daddy at the Sacramento ZOO
Family pictures in December! Thanks Amanda Glenn!
Isabella is at the dress up age, and I love it! I love the things she puts together
Anderson is growing faster than I want to acknowledge! Love him!!!!
Disneyland in February with my family! IT was pure MAGIC!!! Loved every minute of it!
Anderson turned 1! He is so fun. Loves to say uh-oh, play with cars, trucks and balls, pull his sisters hair, dance, mickey mouse, play outside, pull on my leg to be held, is not walking, and does not sleep great! But he is happy all of the time and a joy to be around! He is still in the 100% for height and weight (30lbs) which makes him a heavy baby and we are looking forward to the day that he walks, which he has no desire to do right now!
Isabella as my wing man while rich and I each drove a u-haul to California!
another outfit
We became a mini-van family, and I love it!

Well that it all for now!

weighing in

A quick post for Andersons 6 month check up! He now has 2 teeth on the bottom which he got last week and he weighed 21.6lbs and 29 1/2 inches long. The doctor said that he is not fat just big and his weight and height match perfectly. I guess we will have to quit calling him "chubba and chunk"! He took his shots like a champ and is still so fun!

LOVE THIS BOY!!

He is almost 6 months old and it kills me! He is growing up too fast! He got his first tooth this week and found his high pitched girl voice that he loved practicing at church! He is almost sitting up and while taking this picture turned himself all the way around in a circle. Teething has not been fun but he still has a great attitude despite it. He loves eating his new foods, but surprisingly not a fan of the banana. He has been on strike a little with the bottle partly because he is teething but in my opinion because he just wants to eat the real stuff. He is wearing 12 month clothing and wearing them well. He loves jumping in his play things and is obsessed with soccer balls! He is still so giggly and loves people! We are having lots of fun with him and love him so much!!!

5 months old and July

Anderson is 5 months old today! I can't believe it! It is going so fast and I want it to stop. He is still such a happy and easy baby. He is so giggly and makes me feel like I am the funniest person in the world because he will laugh and anything I do! He will sleep through the night on most days unless he is teething or sick. He goes with the flow so well no matter if he is on schedule or off, which I am so grateful for because we are on the go a lot. I would say next to me he loves his Aunt Amber and Lindsay most. He loves to smile and play with them. He is a big flirt and will smile and laugh for anyone that will give him attention. He has started trying to take food out of my hand, but understandably, doesn't think rice cereal is the greatest thing. He is wearing 9-12 month clothing and I swear as soon as I buy something he is out of it. He really is such a sweet little guy and we are so blessed to have him! Love you Bubba!

He loves his bouncer and excersaucer
He is like, really guys this is not funny. I'm not a doll.(this is Isabella's doll stroller) She thought it was great fun to push him around in it!
This is his serious face, because come on, being superman is serious business!!

I guess I turned 30 this month and Rich and I had out 6th wedding anniversary! Those holidays are a day apart so they most of the time get lumped together. (I don't know what I was thinking when we decided on that day!) But both holidays were good and low key which was what I wanted
Kellene came to visit and got to stay with us for a week. She is so cute and so well behaved! We loved having her. The only down side was that we all got the flu that week including her. All of us took turns on different days but she and I were sick on the same day! But she was a good bed buddy to be sick with and she got over it the fastest.
All three kiddos before bed. This was the best I got of all three of them looking
I flat ironed Isabellas hair for the first time. Loved It
Hannah and Anderson watching the Ipad together. He kept touching the screen and she would tell him not to so she finally moved over and said," If you are not going to listen to me then you can not watch the Ipad with me!" and he promptly fell over on her and spit up! We laughed out loud about that one!!!
