Easter

Easter was so fun this year! Last year we got to be in Oregon and this year we were in Mexico. I think we are starting a traveling tradition for Easter. But we went down with family and friends and the weather was incredible and the company was great and we had a lot of fun! Isabella was old enough this year to kind of get into the Easter thing, so that was super fun! We didn't get much sleep because the adults would stay up until 1 or 2 in the morning and then our kids were up at 6 or 7. You think we would learn but we just couldn't help ourselves! What with games where we make animal sounds, yell, laugh, act, and eat junk! who would want to sleep!

So we/I love the game sedareks. Which is just like sharaides(sp) but instead of one person acting out to the whole group the whole group acts out to one person, but they can not discuss the word before they start. It is HILARIOUS to see every ones different take on things in a stressful/timed situation. I love it!! I can't remember what the boys were acting out but it was funny enough for me to get up and get my camera! I will leave it to your imagination
Scott, Kiana, and baby Donavin came with us. It was his first Easter and his first visit to the beach. He was so cute! Oh and they were fun too!! ;) They were waiting on passports(which have only been taking about 2 weeks) and weren't sure if they were going to make it, but they came that day at 10 in the morning and they were on the road by 2! What a miracle and we were so glad they could make it!
This is miss Lucy and she is so sweet and cute! she says the funniest things and is so pretty! She is 3 and Isabella had fun playing with her!
Isabellas' favorite part of Easter was the hunt. I was surprised because I thought she was still too young to get it. I wanted to hide them all again just so I could watch her little face!
Her happy face!
WOW! WOW! is what she was saying
Here is Amber and Amy helping the girls dye Easter eggs. I was running back and forth from the kitchen getting paper towels and spoons and more bowls. It was a quick activity but it was worth it. Isabella kept eating the dye even after she tasted the vinegar. Really, I can't get the kid to eat anything but give her a bowl of vinegar and away she goes! We had no spills and the eggs actually turned out decent!
Amy, Nate, Ivy, and Lucy! Thanks guys for coming! We had so much fun! All of this group were great company!
Isabella playing in the sand on a windy day!
I hope everyone had a great Easter! Ours was one to remember!

I just caught up on your blog and I am sorry for all the craziness...I can't believe you have had to go through so much. I am glad that Easter was fun in Mexico even if you had to go through so much. We love you!
