Isabella Karen is HERE

Here is Isabella Karen Newell. She was born May 30th at 4:39p.m. and she was 6lbs and 14ozs and 20 inches long. She has dark curly hair and very long fingers and toes and she is just perfect. Labor went good with a few scary moments. It lasted about 13 hours, but they had lots of problems with her heart rate depending on what position I layed in, so they put me on my right side and had to keep starting and stopping labor because of her heart rate. But luckily we evaded a c-section thanks to our wonderful nurse! I finally got to a ten and they rushed to get everything ready and after three contractions of pushing out she came. Her cord was wrapped around her body and her shoulder and it was really short so that is why we were having trouble with her heart rate.
She has been just dreamy. She is nursing well(ouch!), sleeping well, and the nurse gave us the A+ for the day because she was the only one doing what she was supposed to be doing. What can we say our child is a genious already! We just love her so much and are so blessed and greatful for her! Life just couldn't get any better!

Julie.....she is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Congratulations! Little girls are so precious and the best gift Heavenly Father can give. I'm sure boys are great too but all I have is a girl and that's all I can relate too!!! But really, Isabella is perfect! You look great too! I'm glad to hear she came out with hardly any complications. You're so lucky that your labor didn't resort to a C-section! I hope you enjoy the next year of growing and experiencing new things with your new little baby girl! Congrats!!!

Wow, 13 hours of labor, you are a trooper! I'm so happy you two finally have your little one, and I must say I am so happy for you to be able to have her vaginally, and what a blessing that she is healthy and well! :o) You looked beautiful afterward (you suck!) and Rich looked so proud! :o) And she is perfect! I can't wait to see her! And I hope the painful nursing is improving for you, because it can be so wonderful! But you gotta do what you do! Dave and I are excited for all three of you! We Love You! :o)
